New iPhone with Built-in SIM Card
Apple Iphone will launch built-in SIM card mobile phones in near future.
The new version of iPhone mobile phone will include built-in SIM card. This report was published in the latest edition of Financial Times, with reference to Apple, which manufactures the phones. Some of the leading companies of European network service providers already introduced built-in SIM mobile phones to their customers.
Operators suspect Apple of trying to gain control over their relationship with subscriber services. The new technology would allow customers to buy iPhone at Apple’s Web site to choose a service provider that suits them.
The necessary data should be enrolled on the SIM card from a distance, so the phone would be immediately ready for use. Even more, it could confuse operators; the new SIM card technology would easily allow customers to change service providers.
According to sources, operators do not believe that Apple has abandoned plans to built-in SIM card for good. Some analysts warn that built-in SIM card would be the first step by Apple towards the provision of network services.
